This was in a small lot of watches I picked up on eBay and just received today. The crown and stem are missing and otherwise needs some TLC. The hinged case is stamped Bulova and 10K rolled gold plate. Inside the case back the movement is protected by a (celluloid?) display back/dust cover. The movement is pretty gummed up. I've never serviced a watch before but thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm not sure what I'll find but, if I get that far, any ideas for sourcing a replacement stem and crown? Thanks.
Dear Wynot, your watch is an unknown watch from 1934. I have seen it in yellow gold as well, which was typical of the time. Happy to see a white gold watch now too! The watch is of 1934. That year also has a circle as date code, but the cirlce is smaller than the one of 1925. Also the dial and case are typical of the 30's. Good luck with the restauration!
Wynot, I'm in agreeance with Alex, watch is dated with a 1934 movement in a 1933 case. I'm also not able to find a suitable model for your watch. It does have a lady 'Senator' feel to it, but I don't know if Bulova ever produced such as model. Unknown for now for me.
