Case is simply marked "Bulova Quality" and "Pat. Jan 11, 1927", with the serial number. Nicely chased white metal. Movement is running but does need a crown. It is a hinged case and is complete with the full dust cover in place. The model eludes me.....looks a lot like a Magnolia or Mercury but the case ends between the lugs is recessed.......and the side chasing follows through onto the lugs. It is also VERY similar to a President Madison, but again the ends are recessed between the lugs.
So....I have no idea of the model and hope you can help!! I am looking forward to getting the crown, getting it serviced and back in action!!!
I did not know how accurate those illustrations were, and I could find no actual pictures of an example. It sure is close with the shape and engraving and the 15 jewel movement, white metal case, radium dial and hands is spot on.
These sure are a mystery.....
