So.. true story here. I have a guy looking to buy some of my fixer's to flip. He and I were discussing a different enamel men's from around 1930 and I said you know I have another. I started looking at it as I was discribing it to him. I opened up the back to check the date, and thought.... wow... that sure is shiny. Hrmm... where is the Bulova... wait there's the PAT. June 10, 1924 like always.... wait is that a faint.. yup... there it is 14K... hey.. I have a solid gold watch from 1930 I didn't even know about!! Uhhhhh... nvm... this one's not for sale. So... digging around here... low and behold I saw Mr. Baker's Wadleigh... and sure enough, I have one as well, but mine has the correct dial... oh... and wait.. mines solid gold! Wooo Hooo!! I think the Bulova has been polished off or it wasn't stamped in like it should have. The watch and case match the correct era and PAT date to a tee... as does the odd duck 9AF.
