Here is a curious one I initially bought for the interesting 3 chain band, but decided to leave it intact as purchased. Case back is marked with a 5 pointed star and "10K Rolled Gold Plate". Inside is marked as "Star Watch Case Co, Stellar" with a very Bulova looking serial number starting with a "1", which corresponds with a 1930 date stamped and serial numbered movement. The inside of the bezel is also hand inscribed with the Roman numerals "8 6 1 9" which corresponds with the last 4 digits of case s/n.
It's missing the minute hand but is running for a full wind. Overall a really clean one with just a touch of case corner wear.
Boy I can't believe how close this is to the ad I just found. What a coincident. I could go wither way on this one but will go along with the group and say non-confirming.
