This is another Bulova I purchased on Ebay. Is it authentic? Would this face be correct for a Bulova 10an movement? Thanks! Michael
Interesting watch, I like it.. There is another currently in the database with this engraving pattern ID'ed as Unknown. There were several different models with this stepped lug configuration at this point in time that we have been unable to identify by name. Based on case s/n starting with a "9" your watch dates to 1929. Can you see a date code on movement?
I suspect the dial/movement in yours may be a replacement. The center second hand complication is unusual, and it appears that the seconds track does not follow the shape of the crystal opening.
1929 Unknown for me for now.
There are currently 526 watches bearing 10AN's in the database. I kept fine tuning my search and came down to this: it appears that your movement and dial are out of a circa 1935 Nurse Based on that, I have to say your watch is a
1929 Non-Conforming
meaning it is a collection of parts, rather than a documented model as seen.
