I looked high and low and failed to find an ad showing this watch. I can't even find a case that is similar, yet here it is. Its a beautiful watch that keeps good time.
I apologize for the first picture that fails to show any of the band detail. I had to crop the pic down to nothing in order to get it to fit.
There is an identical watch on ebay right now, so I'd have to guess its a real watch, but as I said, I couldn't find any literature showing what type it is.
Great watch and the first we have seen in this style. Thanks for adding her to the database.
I've also had a quck look through our adverts but found nothing and it's certainly on one I recall ever seeing in an advert.
There is still some debate and thought around its year, but I suspect its from between 1926 and 1928.....although I think we are establishing some of these as 1927.
The movement is a 1926 only movement according to the database.
Here is a better picture of it including the band.

Could it be a variation of a Miss America? It does have some similarities to a MA, the shape of the case, and the dial, but the engraving is wrong.
It looks very similar to the Baroness but with lugs. I am thinking it is a ladies sport watch like the Dubutante.
In reply to It looks very similar to the by Kathy L.
Ladies Sports series also crossed my mind. It's those lugs that make it standout.
I am guessing it was part of this new sports line. This ad is from 1927. I haven't been able to find your watch yet.

I was also thinking Debutante, or similar to a Barroness (have one of those as well, but it doesn't work) There are similarities to both, closer to a Debutante, but still not quite the same.
unfortunately, the shape of the case does not match even one of the discussed models, Debutante has straight side of case, while the Baroness has sides of the case slanted more than assessed watch
I did not find a similar case
Yes, the closest shaped case seems to be a Miss America, but the etching is all wrong. The etching and design of the dial on the Barroness is similar, but th shape is all wrong, the dial and etching on the Debutante is close, but the case has no lugs.
I do not see any Miss America with a similar shape of the case
