I don't seem to be able to find the manufacture date based on the information on the website. Watch runs and keeps time (2m4s off after one day)
Is 1921 still a good estimate for the date of this Pocket Watch? Any thoughts? The movement looks similar to this watch record dated 1923.
Would agree. more likely 1922/23.
Different case maker Will, and we can't date it with an engraved dedication with complete accuracy.
Case date with SN is 1920, globe logo also from around then. Pre-spring 1923 Bulova sig. on movement.
I would date admin's watch to 1920-22.
Case serial no. on subject? Star watch case serials may differ from American Standard, non-reliable method of dating.
Movement serial no. on subject higher than admins, so 1921-22.
No great accuracy I know, but the existing dates are close enough I think.
Both watches are great early examples, and show that Bulova quality is up there with the older US manufacturers.
