A Nice 6716-s with a special dial! Is it enamel?

Wow a first for the site!

We do not see too many of these early case variations. Thanks for adding.

Does any one know the reference to the 'Blue birds'?

This may have been added after.

I see a lot of tiny paintings on dials, they seem to come mostly from Quebec here in Canada. Oftentimes the theme is religious, but not always.

Ad for the  LADY DIANA (1923)

Showing the No. 6716-S turned into the Lady Diana.

Watch is a 1922, as is the ad ID'ing it as 6716-S, whereas the ad naming it Lady Diana is dated 1923. Dial numeric placement/configuration is also different between the two ads and subject watch.

I'm inclined to stick with

1922 Bulova 6716-S

Noting dial difference
