something from the early era of ladies' watches when Bulova also used the movements from other swiss manufacturers

- Case signed "American Standard" with globe symbol
- Case description of "Warranted 20 Years"
- Movement signed "BULOVA W. Co."
- No movement caliber designation
- No movement serial number
- No movement date code
- Case serial number begins with "10"
- Case style of pocket watch

A wonderful little watch Jaroslav. I like the bezel, very unusual engraving.
Rubayiat
Rubaiyat for me as well. Did we ever figure out what the incomprehensible WISSXRIHS is? I've certainly seen it before, I thought we had a line on this, but unable to find it for some reason.
It's got me stumped too. Possible a Swiss word/code? Looks like 'WVSSXRIHS'
Another 1920 Rubaiyat with co-signed movement...that's three now...amazing.
Another beauty Jaroslav
I'm good w/ Rybaiyat for this one
...and wondering why I'm still on the fence for the other similar watch here.
Hi Jaroslav thats a nice little watch. What I find is quite interesting is that there were quite a number of manufacturers selling watches of the same case designs. If the markings on this watch wern´t bulova it could be an Elgin . Welta. or any number of different watchmakers. I have a couple of watches with the same design of case. mine are Elgins
