Watch Description

The movement is 10BC, 17 jewels, BXW, J9.

The case is 1132272, A9.  There are no identifying numbers on the inner side of the case back.  It says Bulova, 10K rolled gold plate bezel, stainless back, New York.  There are two pieces of paper used to hold the inner ring in place and I always just left them there.  I think you can see one of them.

I've owned this over 30 years but have never been sure of the date of production, the model name, etc.  I serviced it in the 90s and had the owner of International Dial re-do the dial probably in the late 90s...can't remember for sure.  The only service date on the inner back cover seems to indicate 1966, however that is a guess on my part.  Hopefully this gives you something to go on...no rush on this.

Best regards,

Jon Goodman

Thanks...I wondered if that might be the case but used 1920 as a starting point.

I think it may be a 1949 Carlyle.
