I recently purchased two Accutron 214s from online estate auctions. They are non-running. I have no intention of repairing them myself but, I thought I could get away with checking continuity of the coils. When I went to remove the dial on the second one, I discovered it was missing the two dial holding nuts. Also, the case back gasket is toast. The coils check good so, my next step will be to find a reasonably priced and reputable watchmaker to fix them. Any thoughts beyond searching eBay? Thanks.
Hi Wynot. I don't know anything about Accutrons, but it looks like Dave's Watch Parts has 3 dial nuts for sale for $5. I don't know if that's for one or all three. You have to email him and let him know which inventory part number you want and he will send you and invoice. This is the link to his site:
Dave's Watch Parts and Tools (daveswatchparts.com)
Once you get to the site, scroll down and click on Accutron material and a list of parts will come up. Good luck.

Hi 1955mercury. Although your name suggests you are Stateside, I'm not sure where you are located. So, I'll just say Happy American Independence Day! I checked out Dave's Watch Parts. I'll be sending him an email shortly. I need to check if he has anything else I need, first. This looks like a great resource. BTW, for what it's worth, I found another Squadron "B" that arrived yesterday. This one has a good crystal. Thank you for all of your help. I appreciate it.
