I can only base the description on what evidence I have found [see original adverts above undoubtably paid for by Bulova] and what my Father who originally bought it has retold me that the watch was bought from a Bulova dealer in 1975 in England. As you can see from the above advert Its description states "1975 Bulova Accuquartz Centenary"
How do you know that for sure ?
Besides for all we know it might be a Euro only model...

I know the full history of this watch. Please read the full content of this thread as the original movement HAS been fixed and is working very well.

Again, my statement was accurate when I made it, in the meantime you had the wrong 218 movement in your watch swapped for the correct 2242 movement and unless I am mistaken you have not given any details has to how you went about having that done? I think that you owe it to the people who bothered trying to help you out in this thread to share how that was done. This would certainly be better form than to try to pass your watch as having had the correct movement when you first posted here by asking me via PM repeatedly to remove my comment...

Again, my statement was NOT inaccurate when it was made and it is OFFENSIVE that you keep writing that. It is troubling that you are unwilling to share how you went about getting the proper 2242 movement back in that watch 'instead of the 218 movement it had when you first came here) and continue denying it was done by saying your watch "was and still is an original" THAT is inaccurate, unless you somehow found the original 2242 movement and had it fixed...
Strange attitude...I suppose you have your own special reasons for refusing to discuss the recent movement change that is obvious to anyone reading the posts here, anyway, I give up.
