Added to data base 11/28/2011. Seller has this listed as "German Made" 14K Gold wrist alarm. Seller states this is a 40's watch but I could see no date code to verify this.

Manufactured in Germany by Junghans between 1951 and 1958 aka J89. The J89 for Junghans own alarm watch actually had 20 jewels. Details for both versions are on Ranfft. Don't know of any way to date more specifically.

there is a  Bulova Wrist Alarm Watch 89 12B service flyer for this copyright 1953 with disassembly and assembly instuctions plus parts list. Please contact me if you have one I'd love a copy (or better still upload it to this site), Thanks

I'm in possession of a friends Junghans 89 and the extended pivot on the third wheel-connecting to the center seconds driving wheel-is snapped off at the base. Does anyone know of anyone with a spare 12b parts movement or better yet a replacement wheel with intact pivot? I've been looking for around 4 month now without success.
