You know... there was an "unreleased"

Brewster/ BOMBADIER I think it was called?  We have an ad for it maybe....

Yep... it was the "Bombadier".  This maybe one of them... the Montgomery Wards ad said they weren't selling it... but maybe someone did?

Do those ribs match?

Not the same plains - the copy in the ad states "Dial is silvered with raised gilt numerals"

I'm thinking that the Jefferson ad is showing the same dial, just without ad text stating so.

All the adverts we have show and describe raised gilt numbers. The subject watch has the matching lumed paint dial and hands.

I'm at Unknown.

Yeah... good eye.  I'm at Unknown a well.

I have a Minute Man with this dial and hands as well that is Unknown.  I think both of them are part of that quasi-military line.

OK, I'll come over to the Unknown camp on this one.

I was going to go with non-conforming, but it seems it will be diffcult to say what it is that it doesn't conform to

Unknown for me also...

The dial in the Jefferson ad looks like the dial in the 1943/44 Bombadier ad.  The ads are of the same era, so is this a possible case of the mount (leather vs bracelet w/ leather insert) being the difference btwn the Jefferson and Bombadier?

I'm still working my head around ID on subject watch.  Its presented on leather now.
