Watch Description

Hi all!

I recently bought this watch and I was wondering if I could have some help identifying it. I'd also love any extra information anyone has about the watch, advertisements for it etc.

From searching through this website, I'm fairly sure this is a 1944 Aviator B. The 15J 10BC movement, detailing on the lugs seems to match this with similar pictures I've seen on here!

I've had her fully serviced and she's running beautifully and keeping time perfectly.

Watch face showing a gold case with a white/cream face. Gold arabic numerals and hands, and a subseconds dial
Stainless steel case back showing the serial number 4279532
Image of open case back showing a 10BC 15J movement with a circle date code. Inside of case back reads: 'BULOVA, 10K Rolled Gold Plate Bezel, stainless back, NEW YORK
Image showing face of the watch and detailing on side of lugs.
A vintage advertisment for Aviator B I found on this website. I'm not sure what year it is from.

Welcome to MyBulova.  Your purchased a nice looking and great condition watch.  I think you nailed it with the Aviator B classification.  It is hard to see the date code on the movement but believe it to be a O which would confirm a 1944 model.   Based on the others in our database and this ad  I am good with

Thank all so much! Great to have a name for it :) really appreciate all the effort you put into this forum! Really makes the experience of buying a vintage watch so special having such a comprehensive database to search through and compare.

I believe I see the circle date code just above 'UNADJUSTED'.

A very nice example of a 1944 Bulova Aviator "B".

Hats off the the person who serviced your watch, it looks like they did a great job.
