1942 BULOVA "BLACKHAWK"

This has always been one of my very favorite watches.  A black/white two toned dial with luminescent hands and numbers.

Part of Bulova's patriotic faux military line made shortly after America entered into WWII, these line of watches were fantastic.

The "Blackhawk" is my favorite of the bunch mostly because of the badass name!

The cathedral hands on this guy are incorrect, and he should have the straight luminescent hands shown in the other examples I've posted.  That being said they kinda look cool.

This is the first Blackhawk I've actually seen  have all the numbers on the dial.  Every other model with the black/white  dial and lumi numbers I've seen has the dashes for half the numbers.

It's also sporting what looks to be the correct origional Bulova stamped leather strap!

That is one gorgeous watch!  And having the Bulova band is really cool as well!!
