I recently purchased this intriguing (to me) White color cased Bulova. The case back is correct, although not pictured. It is an L6 with a case no.29301. Im a new member so bear with me. couldnt figure how to get more than a Thumbnail photo attached. Dont even know if its attached! The dial is a honey colored Honeycomb textured dial. Measures 32 mm in diameter. I would love some help identifying it. No help from your site search. Hopefully someone recognizes this watch. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Dan

If the pics are in .jpg format and the correct size then the directions in the link should help.
Very similar Dial and hands to the Navigator. Interesting to see if there are any others matching the case as well.

Oh come on Ladies and Gentlemen. Thats all there is out there in the way of knowledgeable people? I did find in your wonderful ad archives for 1955 a Senator FW with a matching case form, but different (black ) dial and hands. Is case form enough for it to be that model? Or does it have to be the exact same dial, hands, most importantly year, etc? Please let me know, if you would be so kind. Thanks much. Dan

I agree with Mark, Midshipman FW has white dial, EW has black.
Also, can you get the back off to verify jewels, movement and age marks. We need more input! : )
As Bobee has stated, the more information you can provide, the more we may be able to help but the are still tons of Bulova models that remain unknown because we just don't have the data/ads that provide ID's. The members here represent years upon years of collecting and research and most of the site content has been donated by us. Are we knowledgeable, Yes, we are. Will an ID for your watch be found, that remains to be determined.
A picture of the caseback would be a good start, the movement also would be a plus.
For now I'm inclined to say "Senator" without the letter extention as the case and production date matches to 56 ad. There would be a different letter extention for a dial change and in some cases, the band it came with.
The bezel seems to obscure a little bit of the outter minute track on the dial.
Looks like the crystal tension ring may be a bit on the wide side, the one in my Surf King is similar, it partially covers the "swiss" at the bottom of the dial.
Hi, And thanks for responses. Ive seen the movement but dont have the tools to open it now. Its an 11acc ,17j movement. I will add a photo of the case back, asap. I did not know about the letter extensions of a watch name designating dial, etc,. Thats very interesting. Thanks. Also the outer track is distorted by the type of crytsal used. A vintage type acrylic high flat top with a beveled edge. The beveling distorts the image below slightly. the seconds track is in perfect alignment. Again, Thanks
The Case bezel, specifically the shelf which forms the recess on the Crown side does not match the Case of the 'SENATOR', nor does the Dial.
These details more closely resemble the 'MIDSHIPMAN' as noted prior.
