Case serial number is 4576747. Watch is marked L1 on case and on movement. Movement is marked 17 jewels and 10 BM. It has a lot of honest wear but sets, runs, and keeps great time. I don't know much about vintage watches and usually just collect vintage sterling jewelry. I saw this on Ebay from one of my favorite sellers and won it for $21. It was very filthy outside, so I took your advice about the Brasso and Plastic X and cleaned it up. The case was really stuck with grime but the movement is very clean? Hope I can figure out how to add a picture! I also have my Grandma's Bulova from the 1920s and need advice on getting that serviced. So, I searched your database, is this an Ardsley?

NC We can't tell without pictures. These ID's and types of questions really need several close-up pictures similar to those in other watch records.
Had problems with attaching photo. Have emailed photo to site admin so I hope it can be posted.
