Well, last week I was talking with a local jeweler and he mentioned possibly finding time to dig out the old dusty box with the bulovas in it. ;>0 well after I non-chalantly wiped the drool from my chin I made an appointment for tommorrow afternoon.
I might also mention that this jeweler sold me a 49 yellow gold Conrad in fair condition but needing the movement cleaned for $10!!!
The wife and I are looking forward to this little treasure hunt.
Good luck!
Maybe he has some old Bulova ad's/marketing materials also!
grrrrr.....all I get here in Australian is old spoons!
I look forward to seeing the spoils of your good fortune :-)
OMG!!!! That is so cool thats what i look for everyday that secret stash and i will keep up the hunt. Good luck and be sure to tell what goodies you get. Lucky dog!

Hope he hits the jackpot!
Well, no jackpot. He only dug out 8 watches, not the basket full I had dancing in my head.
But the trip was not a complete loss.
The wife picked up a 1959 womens 23 jewel white rolled gold plate and a 1921 womens in 19K gold fill that is similar to the Princine.
At least the day was not a waste. I am going to have to go hunting in old jewelry stores soon.

But did you get them at a good price?
$10 each!! doesn't get much better than that.
