When I go to your first link to all the library of congress photos, the tiff's although difficult to view w/o add-in to browser, are pretty neat when one sees a bigger picture. They are also hard to just "download" for viewing outside of browser. However, the actual negatives, in 5" by 7" format, would have fantastic resolution. Large format camera was used. I'm talking about granularity resolution of film here. I am requesting a copy of the actual negatives for two which I find interesting. I think I see several watches in the tiffs. I've got equipment to view/print from this format film, and will let you know if I find anything remotely interesting at the watch level. Will

So Geoff Baker tells me I need to get this and well so I did Thanks Geoff. :) The photo on the left is from 1939 at the Long Island Railroad Station and the one on the right is the same station in 1964. Note they changed the clock to Waltham Watches in the 64 picture. So now I'm wondering do we have 3 Bulova Watch time clocks or is this the same clock used in three different places?

Note the black center in the first photo. The other two have/had white. A re-paint maybe or another clock.
Isn't it amazing to see the passage of time can do to a clock.

Hey Bob, I was thinking late last night if the person/company that built your clock would be interested in makeing a few more. I'm sure a bunch of members would love to buy one....I know I would.
