I considered that one briefly. I figured the movement condition was too great a risk...Glad somebody here nabbed it though.

I'm not to worried about the movement. It's essentially just a 21 Jewel , 7AP ... from 1942-43 I'm pretty sure. Parts are easy to find and I have probably 3-5 of those around.
It looks to be a very nice clean case... the dial and hands are what I like.
You will have to replate it....

Well, it goes somethin like this...$11 buks fo da watch, $30 to redial er, $60 ish for some add on gold, $20 for a new window, $40 for an oil change and voila, a like new General
Is that a deal or a rude awakening? LOL
