Not sure if anyone can help me. I found this in a box of bits and pieces belonging to my late uncle. I would like my information. It is gold in colour and on the back has Water tite, Bulova, anti-magnetic, stainless steel back it also has what could be a serial number 8212509. Hope this is enough information for someone to assist me.
Thanks
Sueion. It is in a very sorry state. No winder, No strap and a cracked face. Not sure what to do with it really.
Sue,
This Case style has been identified as the 'ASHFORD', but the 'ASHFORD' came with a sub-Dialed 17 Jewel manual winding Movement according to the ad and I notice Your Watch is not showing that.
You will need to open the Watch for further identification.
Interesting notes- can We get a picture of the Caseback?
In reply to Sue, This Case style has been by FifthAvenueRes…
Sorry the photo is not the best but hopefully it will assist. There is no winder on the watch and the inside sound a bit loose so not sure what might be inside........
Clockwise on the photo the writing reads
ANTI-MAGNETIC
WATER TITE
BULOVA
STAINLESS STEEL BACK
The number 8232809 is just above Anti-Magnetic.
Thanks
Sue

I can't see much of the details of the above watch. Does your watch look like the watch below? Does it have a BULOVA logo on the dial? Given clear jpg images of the watch dial, movement & case back markings inside & out we can identify your watch.

In reply to Smartin I can't see much of by Wayne Hanley
Yes it is similar but with a cream face. and had BULOVA on the dial. How do I open it. I do not want to damage it in any way as I think it need sosme LTC.
FifthI had my comments open & went for coffee. I don't mean to interfere!
Have a beautiful myBulova Day!
the more the merrier Wayne..
I think the Watch You are showing above is the same as the Watch in question. Sues' Caseback remarks have Me a little confused as does the Watch, it does not match the vintage ad for the 'ASHFORD'.
Bulova 'NEPTUNE'

Looks like good timing for Plains new ad. here's a higher res image.

By any chance does it have L7 stamped on the back?
