s/n 1-110689 is nothing more than a Serial Number stamping on the back of the caseback. It tells you nothing about the watch date. These 214 casebacks are all interchangeable so it could be an original caseback or a exchanged one. The only real info that serial will tell you is that caseback and most likely the case is (Swiss). Swiss cases serial numbers start with a 1-XXXXXX or 3-XXXXXX or 5-XXXXX. So that is a sign that watch is Swiss. The date code should also be on the casebcak like M4 (1964) or M5 (1965) M stands for the 1960s and N stands for the 1970s.

With the info inside the caseback, it appears to be an 18kt Gold Case # 217 with a date of M0 or 1960. Others can confirm, adjust or correct this info.

M0 is indeed a 1960 case.

The movement datecode appears to be directly above the ratchet wheel in the image.
