It's a guess: could it be a kind of Carolyn ??
EDIT: 2012.08.29 Changed from Carolyn to 1929 Prudence
I looked through the ads from 1928 thru 1931 and didn't see this case shape...but there's a lot of them ladies out there which we don't have ads for. Perhaps a large amount for which we will never have ads, or maybe the model was not advertised at all? We'll keep looking...
Hi Willem I believe there was some discussion on this watch being similar to the Prudence. I found three ads on site from the 1920's showing the Prudence. Seeing the actual Prudence ads is useful.
Below is one ad from 1926. You can click on the image to see the entire full size ad.
Willem. As for the Carolyn ID, I'm not seeing it in the ads. There's also no other watch ID'ed as such on site. For the Carolyn ads, I found a 1928 ad (below left). It shows an ornate case. The next ad for the Carolyn shows up in 1934 as a much different watch (below right). By 1936 it shows up as a 17 jewel model. Again you can click on any graphic below to see the full ad.
Based on this, I've voted unconfirmed 1 tick. It's most likely an unknown still - IMO.
Will,
Today I've been searching the Vintage Ad and Watch database for a similar Model...

You were correct with the 'PRUDENCE'.
